Find it annoying and a little intrusive to have Linkwithin widget displaying below every post? Well, I have a solution for you.
First if you have any existing Linkwithin Widget installed, remove them, you can click on the wrench button and click remove. Or if you have removed the wrench button (I will post a tutorial on that some day) you can go to Layouts and remove it.
Now we can begin:
You might want to backup your template first before making any changes, now look for the </body> tag and paste this code above it:
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'>
REPLACE THIS WITH LINKWITHIN CODE
</b:if>
REPLACE THIS WITH LINKWITHIN CODE
</b:if>
Now go to the linkwithin website by clicking here: LinkWithin. and fill in your email and your website and your preferences.
Important note: For platform, choose "Others" and click get widget.
Once the code is displayed, copy it and replace the LINKWITHIN CODE with that code and click save templates. Done! Now it should look like this:
LinkWithin Widget should now only display on the post itself.
Hope you enjoy this article and if you like it please take 5 minutes to share it with everyone! We would really appreciate it.
Any comments for help or feedback are welcomed.
