• My only complain is that you can't send too many visitors at one shot. (eg: 1000 and above) in a short interval of one hour. Otherwise your website or blog will crash and if you have DDOS protection. (Denial of service attack protection). Two things will happen:

1. Depending on your settings, your IP will be banned for the meantime or permanently. (Which isn't good) Also, check with your service provider. Some expensive hosting plans will provide a DDOS protection without you knowing.
2. This software will not work for you.

Update: A re-adjustment

Hello to all readers, we are now adjusting to the way we post our articles now. As you might know we are not posting as regularly as before as we are pacing ourselves so that our blog can last longer, however you can expect at least one post based on informative stuff. Windows 8 Consumer Preview

I am not very sure if you have heard of this, but the new Windows 8 Consumer Preview is now available for you to download.

Here are some things you can expect:

A new Metro interface, doesn't look too different from Windows 7, but the new Metro Interface has some a new toolbar on top as you can see from this:

Since this is only a consumer preview, you won't be expecting too much from them. However, some basic tools such as email, media player, etc has been installed for you and ready to use.

There are also system requirements to run Windows 8, the developers at Microsoft tried not to increase the gap for the specification in order to run Windows 8. So if your Window 7 is running fine on your computer now, there is not much to worry, anyway, here are the requirements. 

System Requirements:

• 1 GHZ Processor
• 1 GB RAM
• 16 GB of free hard disk drive
• DirectX 9 graphics card 
• WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

Well, I think Windows 8 is okay, although there is not much difference from Window 7. This new Metro Interface does not focus too much on the outlook and appearance. Instead, it focuses more on the functionality of the new version of this Windows 8 OS. If you were to download it, you can now find that you have a more flexible control and easy viewing of recent documents as such.

This also comes with a new Internet Explorer 10 Beta platform preview. I might write about it when I have the time to do so.

What is the difference between Black-Hat and White Hat

         

Black hat are methods that are used to increase their site ranking much faster than white hat. 
It also involves breaking a search engine site rules and regulations as it is also unethical to do so.
These tricks do work however be warned that you will be banned.


Black Hat methods normally consist of: 


Invisible text: 
Webmaster add them to their web pages to allow search engines to index your pages. A like keyword stuffing, except they are on web page. Later you will see why Black hat SEO use this method compared to keyword stuffing.


Keyword Stuffing:
Keyword stuffing are stuffing keywords into your site meta keywords page. This method does not work anymore as if found out by search engines that you are stuffing or spamming keywords, they will automatically bring down your site ranking from 100-100000. Which is why it is important to check your keyword density at all times


Doorway pages:
These are pages that viewers or users of the public will not get to visit. It is purely for search engine bot spider crawling purposes. This will attempt to trick the spiders into indexing them on a higher rank.


White Hat are ethical ways of allowing the search engines to index your pages higher. These normally involve practice and some theory work on how it is done.


This should give you a general idea on what is Black-Hat. Now let's go into Google AdSense, earning money with black-hat methods the smart way.

This e-book talks about how a person whom is a Singaporean (I am too) uses a black-hat method to trick Adsense to display relevant ads or irrelevant ads on his website without being caught by search engines. Useful tips and plugins for improving SEO

Everyone knows having a good SEO optimized site has a better chance of attracting visitors and what we bloggers call  "Royal Users" or sometimes "Royal Readers". 

Royal readers or users are people who are, well royal to you. They subscribe to your blog and promote them to social networking sites. These are royal readers. Having royal readers are not easy to have and some blogs are using "artificial ways" of getting royal readers. I won't criticize them or anything, and in a way it does help, in a sense.


Anyway here are a few tips on getting a good SEO for your blog or website:


1.Do not commit to unethical practices of getting good SEO (Normally known as black hat methods)
-This method is strongly not advised as it will (sooner or later) result from your website or blog from getting banned by search engines such as Google. Meaning you won't receive traffic from Google anymore. If that happens, you may as well close down your blog or website, because this will result in a significant decrease in unique visitors (Meaning visitors who have visited your blog for the first time) who rely heavily on search engines will not be able to find your blog or website, EVER. This will also result in the lost of trust in your royal readers and you know what will happen.


Methods of Black-Hat SEO


Invisible keywords
-Stuffing Invisible irrelevant text into your website. A little bit like keyword stuffing


Doorway pages.
-These pages are invisible and are only available to search engine bots to crawl all over them. This will trick the bots into indexing them for a higher rank.


Keyword stuffing
-I will suggest for your keyword density for your overall website or blog per post to be a maximum of 5% nothing more to prevent any misunderstandings for the bot to think you are stuffing keywords


Some advises for a good SEO is to:
-Build a strong backlink with other webmasters.
-Promoting your blog on Social networks
-If your blog is about tutorials or has some of them, it will be a good idea to post a tutorial you have on YouTube to let people find it and you can include a link back to your blog or website. This way you will double the chance of getting your blog/website noticed.
-Produce relevant content on your website or blog. The more you post (for blogs) to bigger your niche will be and there will be a higher chance for your blog to be found. For websites, the only way to actually increase your rank is through promoting and putting relevant description into your meta description. (Search engines don't place too much importance into keywords due to spam).

With this, you will be able to monitor your blog's stats.

Kon Boot boots from external media such as floppy, CD, or USB removable drives. When a PC running Windows is started with Kon Boot, the BIOS of the PC will then be hooked by Kon Boot.

After hooking the BIOS, Kon Boot will modify the Windows kernel to allow a user to bypass the step of Windows authentication procedure during Windows Logon.

What are affiliate Ads? Should you use them?

Most of you have probably heard of Affiliate Ads, but what are they?
To put it in laymen terms, this means that they pay-per-sale. Somewhat like a promoter, promoting a product and if the users click through the links and buy, you make a portion of the total commission.
Sounds good? Let's begin by looking at some of the recommended affiliate ads:


Amazon Associate:

The most popular affiliate ads website. Very easy to integrate into blogger via a gadget. 
There are no barriers for entry, however please do abide to the Terms and Condition, if you violate them, you will stand a chance of people complaining and face a ban. This ban is a permanent IP ban. Meaning no more accounts from the user. So be careful.
There are tons of ad formats:

An example of a widget above. You can make up to 10% commission with digital products. Very useful if you run a topical blog about movies, writing reviews to software and add relevant ads to it to attract buyers.


eBay Partner Network: 

Another established company, eBay! As everyone knows, eBay is not like amazon associate where they focus on selling products. eBay, if you would like to say, people refer to it as a free market (for within your own country), and at the same time a flea market. Why? Because you can find almost anything and everything, something you might not want, someone else might want it. As usual, you can decide to write a topical blog about a subject and sell advertise something relevant to your content to attract readers. Like if your blog is about card games, card auctioning might be something you will consider to advertise on.

You might also want to do some experiment on the types of products you might want to advertise to increase your revenue. For an eBook review site, you might want to promote a kindle (E-book reader by amazon).  The choice is up to yours and if you are lucky or maybe it is Christmas and a lot of people do shopping, you might even make up to a few thousands of dollars!

So quite frankly, unless your blog is doing about for example gaming reviews, amazon associates might work for you. or perhaps you are doing a book review, amazon should do nicely as well. You might even want to personally write a review for one of their e-book reader called the Kindle and promote the product.

My reasons for disliking Facebook Timeline

Facebook's new timeline feature, the latest revamp of the profile page since 2004. Well, there is a reason to hate it and let me just warn you this that there is no way, Repeat and stress, no way to remove the new timeline. If anyone claims that they can do so, you can immediately dismiss them as scams. Lately there are a lot of phishers out there ready to steal your accounts by claiming that you can remove the timeline simply by using their service. Let me tell you this is impossible. Normally you will need to enter your account credentials and that is when they will get hold of your account.

What do I hate about the new timeline:

Everything is a total mess:

As you can see from your profile, all of your pictures, description and all of your post is now in a two sided column.  All of them are arranged in a chronological order, it is a mess. Instead of a 1 column where all your post is arranged neatly, it is now divided into two column everything everywhere. Gives people a headache trying to find a particular conversation or post.

Cover Photos and Profile picture:

Profile picture and cover photos? What does each represent? Profile picture represents you, so what does cover photo represent? Is it about you or your current mood. People cannot make up their mind and so do I. If you were to change your profile picture to probably not a picture of you but something that represents you, what does a cover photo make? I guess Facebook thinks that everyone has the time and are into doing all these.

It will take you the hell of your time trying to maintain it:

Well, now that Facebook has introduced the new timeline feature, it can now go back in time such that you can even post pictures about yourself BEFORE you even joined Facebook. Sorry Facebook, but we don't do live journals or scrap booking. Even if we do, not all of us will want to make it live and public to all your friends. Even if we want to, we will not waste our time trying to add photos, trying to scan them, enlarge them and upload them.
