Useful tips and plugins for improving SEO

Everyone knows having a good SEO optimized site has a better chance of attracting visitors and what we bloggers call  "Royal Users" or sometimes "Royal Readers". 

Royal readers or users are people who are, well royal to you. They subscribe to your blog and promote them to social networking sites. These are royal readers. Having royal readers are not easy to have and some blogs are using "artificial ways" of getting royal readers. I won't criticize them or anything, and in a way it does help, in a sense.


Anyway here are a few tips on getting a good SEO for your blog or website:


1.Do not commit to unethical practices of getting good SEO (Normally known as black hat methods)
-This method is strongly not advised as it will (sooner or later) result from your website or blog from getting banned by search engines such as Google. Meaning you won't receive traffic from Google anymore. If that happens, you may as well close down your blog or website, because this will result in a significant decrease in unique visitors (Meaning visitors who have visited your blog for the first time) who rely heavily on search engines will not be able to find your blog or website, EVER. This will also result in the lost of trust in your royal readers and you know what will happen.


Methods of Black-Hat SEO


Invisible keywords
-Stuffing Invisible irrelevant text into your website. A little bit like keyword stuffing


Doorway pages.
-These pages are invisible and are only available to search engine bots to crawl all over them. This will trick the bots into indexing them for a higher rank.


Keyword stuffing
-I will suggest for your keyword density for your overall website or blog per post to be a maximum of 5% nothing more to prevent any misunderstandings for the bot to think you are stuffing keywords


Some advises for a good SEO is to:
-Build a strong backlink with other webmasters.
-Promoting your blog on Social networks
-If your blog is about tutorials or has some of them, it will be a good idea to post a tutorial you have on YouTube to let people find it and you can include a link back to your blog or website. This way you will double the chance of getting your blog/website noticed.
-Produce relevant content on your website or blog. The more you post (for blogs) to bigger your niche will be and there will be a higher chance for your blog to be found. For websites, the only way to actually increase your rank is through promoting and putting relevant description into your meta description. (Search engines don't place too much importance into keywords due to spam).
