Welcome to my first tutorial on how to use proxy.
You see people posting proxy services everywhere. Now I will teach you how to manage these proxies with efficiency and they are free also.
For Chrome Users
-Download the extension
-Then go to proxy profile and add one.
-As for the details, add in the type of proxy it belongs to. As for the port,if should fill in by itself.
-If it doesn't use this method to find:
- Open your Internet Explorer browser. (This will be the method you will use to add proxy for internet explorer)
- 2. Click on "Tools" tab in the top menu bar.
- 3. Click on "Internet Options". This will bring up the "Internet Options" window.
- 4. Click on "Connections" tab.
- 5. Click on "LAN Settings" button in the bottom portion of the window. This will bring up the "LAN Settings" window.
- 6. Click on "Advanced" under the "Proxy Server" section to be able to see the proxy server settings of your local area network. Port number will be next to the IP address.
-To use it just enable the extension from extension manager.
For Firefox Users:
Follow this link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/foxyproxy-standard/
Download it and go to Proxy settings under file.
Under it, click on Proxy details and select, manual proxy configuration.
Fill in your proxy details and check whether is it a sock 4 or sock 5 type of proxy. If it is a http type, you can uncheck it.
Enable the extension and restart your browser. It should work.
